Comfort Inn Bishop

Rooms very clean and spacious. Friendly atmosphere. Yummy continental breakfast. Convenient location to restaurants and parking.

Check in was great, the room worked out perfect and I was most impressed with the breakfast! Great selection, well stocked, clean! I've had worse at higher end hotels. Great value, Friendly and clean! Right off Main St.

Exceptionally clean room, good bed and good pillows. Nice breakfast. Bit noisy and should have remembered to run the a/c on constant to drown it the room next door and upstairs. Check in staff was about what I’d expect for a location such as this. Not sure why they bother keeping a pool if it doesn’t look maintained. Again, spotless room and that made the stay.

The comfort inn had that one way direction parking setup but if you pull off of Eastern Sierra Scenic Bywy at the street light going South on you could pull straight in to parking area. The staff were extremely polite and very familiar with the area and can provide much information. The place was very clean and the Continental breakfast was great and provided all the necessities especially having a waffle maker. It's also in a very good location in the center downtown Bishop. Just a block away from that famous bakery that's in walking distance. There is a pool (not heated) and a heated spa that seems to need a little extra maintenance but they were usable. It seems that the filters aren't maintained very well, looks like they need a coat of paint. Before we would go in the pool I would have to remove the leaves and other debris from the waters surface with the supplied pool utensils. It is nice that they have a cabinet of towels available poolside. They do have a washer and dryer room along with the ice machine that tends to be empty 50% of the time due to the fishing tenants that stay there... I assume they use it to pack their coolers to keep the fish fresh. There's also an area to clean the fish within.

This is an absolutely fine hotel (actually MOTEL). Although old, it is basically the same as all the other Bishop hotels on the Main Street through the city. The room was clean, comfortable and breakfast was a full standard hotel breakfast. There was about a thousand television channels to keep you entertained. WiFi was good. AC/heater unit was located in sink/closet area so wasn’t as loud and bothersome as when under a window. We chose this over the BW because this hotel had a full breakfast and BW only served continental breakfast for the same price.

During a crazy busy weekend we were luckily to find a room in a town that was basically full. Abi at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond ensuring the room was quickly prepared for us and our service dog. Hot chocolate at the front desk added to the festive spirit!

Overall it was a good room. Front desk staff was great and very helpful. Room and linens were clean. Only issue is the Heater/AC unit has a bad bearing on the fan. When it kicks on it sounds like an airplane engine that is coming apart. I would stay here again

This little hotel was very nice. Very clean remodeled, nice breakfast very quiet. We enjoyed our stay!
